Abstract:
Background: Autism is a neurodevelopment disorder that includes a wide range of complex developmental disabilities, includes impaired social interaction and communication, deficits in developing and maintaining relationships, repetitive behaviors, restricted interests, ritualized behaviors, behavioral inflexibility and impaired sensory processing. Research evidence suggests that a significant proportion of children with autism behavioral and emotional problems are related to how nutrition and diet. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the best nutrition for children with autism. Conclusion: Studies indicate that in addition to psychological treatments, regard to proper diet has positive effects in the control of behavioral and emotional problems in children with autism. Therefore the children's diet should include, foods with high vitamin D and calcium, folic acid, and zinc, Fresh fruits and vegetables, fewer processed and packaged foods-more fresh foods, cereals, Foods with high Omega-3, Fewer high sugar food.
